Shawn is an intellectual property attorney with a focus on patents, patent defense, and licensing. Shawn has worked on both patent prosecution and patent litigation matters in technology areas ranging from medical devices to cinder blocks. He assists clients, from individual inventors to international businesses, to find creative, cost-effective solutions for their intellectual property issues.
Prior to joining the firm in 2016, Shawn ran a solo practice and worked as an associate in law firms in Boston and Minneapolis. He was also a clerk in the United States International Trade Commission’s intellectual property enforcement division. Shawn taught high school science before attending law school.
